Check this thread for live games on Setanta Sports each week.

    This week:
    Sat 8th March 10am Setanta Sports 2
Live - NAB Cup (game not specified, assuming final between St Kilda and Adelaide)

    This is a good idea.

Maybe you could edit the OP each week because the thread would get messy after a few months and would be a pain in the ass trying to find what games are on.

[EDIT] setanta.com says its on SS2 not SS1

Cheers hanton, saves be a bit of hassle.

I don't have setanta at the minute though, so it's listen on-line or the pub(if they open that erly on a sat)

You won't be able to do that, afaik. There is a limited edit time on posts.

Just start a new thread each week with all the fixtures listed, and what ones are on TV, where and when.

    Match Week Xth April 2008
    a v v
    c v d - Setanta Sports 8am
    e v f

    and so on...

    How is that?

no bother, whatever suits everyone best sure. I emailed setanta about sending out fixtures, so have their ezine thing coming to me, it gives prem soccer fixtures so hopefully will give AFl fixtures too.

    NEW TIME SCHEDULE FOR GAME:

    8am Saturday morning SS2
Live: AFL - St. Kilda vs. Adelaide
Live NAB Cup Final clash from the AAMI Stadium as St. Kilda lock horns with Adelaide for the first piece of silverware in the AFL season.

For those who can't catch it live it is repeated on:

    Sat at 3:00pm & 8:30pm on SS2
    Sun at 5:30am & 4:30 on SS2 & 1:00pm on SS1

So you have plenty of chances to watch it if you miss it or you just aren't an early riser on Saturday mornings ;)

No repeats on Setanta Ireland then?

    Dammit.

    Someone mentioned listening online.

    How?

    Which Aussie radio carries games?

try afl.com.au. They usually have live radio links on live games as well as a map thing where it shows where the ball is and gives updates on who kicks/handballs etc.

My God you're lazy! Firstly you don't look on the feckin St. Kilda site (the most obvious place to find info about the game btw!) and now you can't subtract 11 hours from the times given! BGRH is the right place for you alright! :D

Anyway, 6.50pm start means 7.50am on Saturday morning for you guys. Go with the Melbourne times that are listed for radio coverage.

Is the first bounce 6:50pm Adelaide time or is that when the broadcast starts?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,919 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

afl.com has it listed as 6.50pm so I'm guessing that's the bounce down time.

    8am? Yeah see you there.

Think I'll watch the 8.30pm repeat, I should be up by then.
