all a ghille suit is just fine netting (fine fishing net) placed/glued/sewn on to the back of overalls or camo if you have a spare pair. the for a artificial one you just get berlap material/jute and stress it out with an iron comb to get it stragely and loose then dye it different colours according to the place of use woodland= dark colours greens/black. then weave it through the netting .as for the proper type you make them on the day if you use grasses and the likes the only problem is the grass begins to wilt and change colour and die. so its nearly not worth it so if you make up an artificial one but add in real grass/stuff would be best

you can get Jute through ebay not sure where else

    Ghillie

I have that one from Recon Company. I bought it after seeing my old flatmate with it and suddenly deciding I needed one. I've never once had the opportunity, nor need, to use it. It looks excellent and it covers top to toe, it has spacings to add in natural foliage should you wish to. I've seen a similar one being used before, it seems to be at home in summer-autumn months in tall grass and hedgerows colour wise.
