    Thursday March 13 at Wax

Electric City 5th Birthday Part 2:

DJ Hell *3 Hour Set [Gigolo Records - Munich]
    Giles Armstrong [Electric City]

Tickets from Big Brother Records & Spindizzy Records.

If there's Hell belo....actually, there is. DJ Hell – one of the biggest legends in the world of electronic music makes his Electric City debut (after rocking the Electric Shock back in October) to help us continue the EC5.0 celebrations. Ever since we caught the big man playing at tiny Moog in Barcelona a few years ago, we knew it would be insanity on an Oceanic level to get him to play EC. After much bonding over the merits, or otherwise, of Pierre Littbarski's free-kick record and the defensive abilities of Andreas Brehme on the walk up to Croke Park to see Ireland draw with Germany, we knew we had found a soulmate. For the last 25 years Hell has been an eminent member of the electronic music elite. Hell and his label, International Deejay Gigolos, have collectively been responsible for much of the electro wave that has been rampaging worldwide over the last couple of years. His approach is more modern than that of any 20-year old. He has worked with Donatella Versace (eat your heart out Ellen), played at a private party of Mr Playboy, alias Hugh Hefner, and remixed Grace Jones.

Still doing it after all these years, Hell & EC team up for a night where Hell plays His Definition of House Music. Making his birthday return after last seen sweating pounds before Pulsinger & Vitalic back in Traffic 2004 is old-enough-to-be-Hell's-younger-brother, Giles 'Any Kids?' Armstrong.

Tickets priced 15 euro + 1 euro booking fee on sale from Big Brother in Temple Bar, Spindizzy Records in the Georges Street Arcade and from the FAI Ticket Office in Merrion Square. You can also PayPal us to electricitypromotions@eircom.net.

    Hello,

DJ Hell - in Wax? Even Dave Clarke didn't believe us when we told him. But that's a story to be told on the night. 5 Golden years and the man like Hell is rocking into town to help us celebrate. Last seen rocking the Electric Shock back in October, the legendary Hell is ready to serve up his Definition of House Music for the EC 5-0. Tickets are on sale from Big Brother Records, Spindizzy & by PayPal at electricitypromotions@eircom.net. Might be some on the door - we'll update closer to the time but if you're going, there's only one to make sure you don't spend the night outside Grogan's - buy a ticket.

    Hi,

Due to illness DJ Hell won't be coming to Electric City tomorrow. This was meant to be his first show in nearly three weeks due to bad health but unfortunately he failed a late fitness test. Refunds are available from point of purchase or you can hang onto your ticket for his rescheduled date in July. Instead on the night we have residents Giles Armstrong and Barry Donovan taking a trip down EC memory lane as they try to celebrate 5 years of the club Hell style. PM for guest list.

    Cheers

    E C 5
