DIT Lisbon Treaty Debate

    The motion for the debate is "This house believes the Lisbon Treaty is a good deal for Ireland".

    Speaking in favour of the motion are:
    Mary Frances McKenna (Progressive Democrats, Forum on Europe)
    Dr. Elaine Fahey (Lecturer in European Law in DIT)

    Speaking against the motion are:
    Richard Boyd Barrett (Socialist Workers)
    David Cochrane (Libertas)

    The format for the debate will be 10 minutes max for each speaker and then the debate will be open to the floor.

    The debate is being organised by the DIT Young Progressive Democrats Society.

    It takes place in DIT Aungier Street from 8:15PM, Room 4-068. Monday 3rd March.
