Anybody else lookin forward to this? I loved "the blue carpet treatment" so hopefully he'll stay on the same lines. What do yea think of the new track "Sensual Seduction"?? Pure old skool Roger Troutman style to it....

Snoop has fell way off man. Sexual Eruption didn't do it for me at all, that was too wack. I guess Blue Carpet Treatment was good, but it wasn't as good as R & G and so on, Doggystyle was a classic but he's struggled in terms of how good of a rapper he actually is, i dont mean how many records he sells, since the late 90's

Ahh thats ****e, he's exploring different styles and Sensual Seduction (prefer that version) is a great track... a whole lot different obviously and not something I'd expect from Snoop Dogg but gotta respect him for trying something so different from his previous work.

Didn't think much of Blue Carpet treatment, but I think Sexual Eruption/Sensual Seduction, is great.
It's good to see him try something different, even if it does sound very similar to T Pain. He doesn't even rap in it until the last minute or so of the song. Great Video too.

    Can't wait for the album.

Listening to it right now, so far so good production wise. Its 21 tracks long though, which is a bit of a bitch.

His No Limit albums were shocking. R&G and BCT weren't bad but really he's been better over the years as an artist featuring on tracks. I suppose you can't complain when he does have one classic album. Hopefully the new one is decent.

Orizio, you listening to the clean leak?

March 14th is the release date so unfortunately won't get a chance to listen to it before then. What are the beats like on the rest of the tracks Orizio?

    Yeah its the clean version.

Only listened to it once, and my first impression is that its pretty unimpressive. Although the production is consistently decent throughout, there are only a few banging beats on it. And you know the MC'ing/lyrics are basically trash.

I found that with The Blue Carpet Treatment as well. On the first listen I wasn't particularly impressed by any of the tracks on it. But a few blunts and some further listening changed my mind. ;) I suppose thats really what Snoop is about now - smokin music. Sometimes thats all you really want to kick back to. As for lyrics, they've never been intelligent and are just there to keep the pace goin. I have to say I'd be slightly disapointed if Snoop started tryin to write lyrics like Immortal Technique :D

**** Snoop isn't even writing his own lyrics these days, he has ghostwriters. Really retarded ones seemingly.

I'll give it a few more listens.

Looking like a good week for new Hip-Hop - Rick Ross, Del, Fat Joe and Gnarls Barkley all after leaking. :)

Not that we promote that kind of thing in any way.

Certainly not, just stating a couple of general random facts. ;)
