    Shocking from Arsenal.

    Look ordinary with Fabregas not playing well.

    Everyone is calling Arsenal lucky because they got a late goal.
    Lets look at some facts;
    Arsenal scored a ridiculous own goal.
    Arsenal created significantly more many chances than Villa.

    But Arsenal got lucky didn't they? :rolleyes:
    Last week when Birmingham had two shots on target (both set pieces) which both went in, the last one being a dodgy penalty decision. Their goalie was forced into making some spectacular saves. Arsenal hit the post and missed some seriously easy chances to stretch their lead beyond Birmingham.
    Kind of puts this concept of 'luck' into perspective.

    Everybody are calling Arsenal lucky because they were lucky.
    Senderos scored an own goal because he was under pressure from Carew after a great cross from Agbonlahor along the six yard box. There was nothing ridiculous about it.........now Jussi Jaaskelainen's own goal against Liverpool, that was ridiculous ;)
    As for Arsenal creating more chances, okay they had 7 shots on target and Villa had 4, but Villa's chances were more clear cut and Almunia had to make excellent saves first from Maloney (tipping it onto the post) then from both Young and Harewood.

    Finally, if you don't think scoring into the forth minute of injury time when the whistle should have been blown after two minutes then you are seriously delusional.

    i've seen the official clock the arse goal went in on 92:58 as in thats the second it closed the line, so i guess get over it.

    I thought it was 93:07, but yeh, it wasn't in injury time. Fergie's just trying to **** with Wenger, and I think he's succedding but that's another debate :P

    You make your own luck.

    I am over it, what's done is done. I'm just sick of hearing all the moaning from Arsenal supports, players and manager, if they put as much energy into winning matches as they do complaining, then they would not be handing Man Utd a life line in the title race.

    We all hear what we want to hear. We are well pissed that we didn't win the game but there's not a Villa fan alive who'll tell you we weren't that surprised when Arsenal equalised.

    If you take your foot off the pedal in the last minute you more often than not get punished for it. It happened to Villa against Arsenal. It happened to Newcastle against Blackburn on the same day. The week before it happened to Arsenal against Birmingham. A few weeks back it happened to Spurs agains United. It happened (double) to Bayern munich in the '99 Champions League final.
    Thats football.
