As mentioned elsewhere, there is the option to purchase Mobile Broadband with the subtitle "Surf the Internet on your computer" in My3

So I purchased, stuck the SIM into a N95, fired up PC suite, clicked on connect to Internet and selected 3 Ireland. BUT it aint working.

    I have 3G coverage

Can someone give me the manual settings for access and I will try?

You need to confgure the APN to 3ireland.ie

The 'dial-up' number required is *99#

Nokia PC suite should have made a dialup networking entry for this connection - if it doesn't I would suspect that the modem didn't get installed correctly and you should uninstall any entries you see for it under phone and modems - will be called something like 'standard bluetooth modem' You can check the dialup connection that Nokia PC Suite made - properties are as follows:

    Under the General tab:
The number to dial should be *99#

    On the Options tab:
I have show dialing progress selected and have unchecked the prompt for phone number or username and password which are both blank anyway.

    In the Security tab:
Under Advanced settings set encryption to optional even if not used.
Under 'Allow these Protocols' select all of them except automatically use my windows login credentials

Check that the modem driver was installed by connecting your phone and looking in 'Phone & Modems' in 'Control Panel'
Ehcik that it's working by clicking the diagnostics tab and and running the query modem function - if modem doesn't give a response change the com port.
Assuming the diagnostics complete and you see a bunch of commands then click the advanced tab and enter this in the extra initialisation field if it is blank.

    +cgdcont=1,"IP","3ireland.ie","",0,0

You should be then good to go..

I set up bluetooth internet on a pda last night using the settings culabula gave, IE: the apn and dialup number. It worked fine after that.
I used my S.E. Z610i as a modem too briefly and didn't have to input any settings at all. The Sony Ericsson software suite was excellent.

Has anyone managed to get over the problem of the Nokia USB driver only downloading at 500kb on the N95?
