So far, the only G36 or variant I haven't used is the KWA, but from all reports it appears to be some piece of work.

Of all the ones I've used in every variant and brand, the CA G36k and G36c are the best of the lot. The Star G36 would be the best of the "full length" and all the SL8's seem to be about the same, good quality, accuracy and looks but limited use.
I've settled on my CA G36k after being a G36 whore for a while and searching for something better. I still haven't found it though. Add in a tightbore barrel, new hop and a 9.6v battery and you have an absolute beast that will last. The body is a heck of a lot sturdir than any other version I've held. It feels like it'll take a beating, and in my experience it has, and come up smelling of roses and silicon.

I've heard good things from them. I've even gone so far as to recommend one to a mate of mine who's a similar G36 nut to me. And for the price you can't go wrong

Ah, but if you buy a JG G36C when it breaks (which all AEGs will, sooner or later) you can get top quality TM compatible parts and really improve the reliability, for much cheaper than it would cost with a TM or CA. Had a peek around and the KWA seems to be TM compatible, I'm not 100% on that mind. It's still sems to be dearer than the JG though.

As for the G36C itself, you really are onto a winner there, it's a really nice AEG to hold and use, top marks.

Plus with a G36C if you want a bit more accuracy and range you can convert it into a G36K, G36 fullsize or an SL9 at a later date. It's probably the easiest AEG to modify and convert into any variant with nearly any attachment you want, even more so than an Armalite.

Only thing i will say is, The mags say they hold 470BBs each but thats BullSh!t well it didnt look anything like 470Bbs more like 300,
