    Folks ,

Can anybody recommend some software for the pc that will automatically "listen" to my mp3/wma collection and update and correct the tags and names of the tracks that I have (similar to the trackid function on some sony erricson phones), as over the years i have built up a large collection and its just taking to long to correct artist/album and track info individually !

    Any help appreciated

    Cheers

I'm almost certain there isnt any software that will 'listen' to your music files and tag them accordingly, if there is its probably being developed by nasa?
What you could get is programs like Media Monkey or mp3tag and let the software identify albums/songs based on number of tracks and length of each track on an the album(It gathers the info from internet databases). Even then its a time consuming process that requires manual input. Basically if your looking for quick fix then I'm afraid it just not that easy.
