Hooking up 2 or more component sources to TV?

    Hey guys -advice needed...

Have new LCD tv with only one component input (loads of HDMI though). Want to connect a Wii and our old DVD player, which both run over component connections.

Is there a simple way of doing this - Do I need to get a 'switchbox' for the component signals, or can I somehow use the VGA input the TV has?

Or, even fancier, can I combine the components into something that'll put out an HDMI feed instead?

    Any tips would be welcome.

    Cheers.

You can buy a receiver that'll do all your switching for you. A popular one on boards is the Onkyo 605. It'll take up to three components and two HDMI and output them all(upscaled) through one HDMI cable.

Jebus that's a fancy piece of kit! Prob a tad outside the price range though. Was thinking more along the lines of this:

TBH, not sure if any of them are worth the money, just to avoid having to go round the back of the telly every now and then.

You could probably find cheaper but this would do the job
