    Hi folks,

    Has anyone ever flown with US Airways? I just would like to find out if they are any good? Do they have a reputation for losing bags or anything like that?

    I'm heading to Las Vegas from Dublin and they are the cheapest I can find (via ebookers.ie).

    Have you tried visiting all airline sites individually? I have never found ebookers to be cheapest even if it is handy. AFAIK US Airways will route you thru Philadelphia, Delta will send you via JFK or ATL and AA will be thru Chicago.

    Yeah I was v.surprised myself. But having looked at all the individual airlines (delta, continental, united, even the US Airways website!), the quote received from ebookers was still the cheapest!!

    i have flown internal US flights with US airways a few times with no problems. Since their merger last year with america west they have become one of the biggest airlines in the states. American west i found to be very reliable as well i might add and cheap

    I have taken then before from Dublin to New York via Philadeplhia they were quite good to be honest. I got a very cheap fare 285 euro round trip which i was very supprised to get. the service on board is normal the cabin crew were great and kept us well fed and watered. In flight entertainement is not too good as when i flew with them they were using a 767 which was old with old projector screens and bad quality tvs in the centre of the cabin. I think they use 757's now. Us airways dont use the pre clearence immigration at Dublin so you will have to enjure US Immigration in Philly and the ones in Philly have a reputation of been the rudest in the US. But the queues are not too long! But US Airways are a good airline and I would recommend them.
