    burial.
that's what all my dubstep mates tell me.

go over to beatport.com and go through the dubstep section. it's called dubstep and grime in the genre section.

i'm not a huge fan of dubstep but i've heard some really cool stuff in the dubstep section over there. methinks i'll be developing an interest in this stuff also.

Check out Benga. There was a great mix of his doing the rounds there a while back. If I can find it I will post it. Also on beatport at the moment if you go to the chart section there is a chart called Marlows dubstep pick and its full of quality tunes.

I like dubstep in small doses to be honest and I wouldnt say Burial is a good indicator of what that scene is about.

Haven't quite made up my mind on dubstep, I like what I have heard but it doesn't blow me away. I bought this compilation -

Some nice tracks and I would imagine a good place to start.

I got this album during the week and have to say it is absolutely excellent -

    Scuba - A Mutual Antipathy

    http://www.discogs.com/release/1304147

http://www.myspace.com/paul_rose_hotflush (Sound previews here well worth a listen)

    http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=92971

The guy behind Scuba is also the guy behind the label Hotflush

There is also a free mix to download from the Hotflush website (1st in a new series of mixes). Haven't listened yet myself but fully intend to after hearing this album -

http://www.hotflushrecordings.com/download.html (the icon on the right is the new mix)

So it looks like a new genre for me awaits my hard-earned cash :pac:
