Just wondering if anyone has tips for broken hinges, there are just so many types and they all seem to be different.

Is it possible to use MacGyver tape or other type of hinges on the side of the laptop ?

Whats the make/model of the laptop? It might be possible to buy the hinges on ebay or even the screen housing which would allow you to replace the said loose / broken hinges. I'm afreaid theres not many more options. Someone I know thought it would be good to bolt another hinge on in the originals place...bad idea...cracked screen...
