Hi, Ive taken a few BJJ lessons and am interested in getting an instructional DVD to reinforce what ive learned, and help me improve faster.

There seem to be several good DVDs available on Amazon, however they are all coded for Region 1, which is USA & Canada. I just wanted to know if these will work (or can be amended to work) in Ireland?

Alternatively, if any of you know of a website where I can buy Irish coded BJJ dvds that would be great.

Also, if any of you can recommend a particualar beginners BJJ Dvd i would be interested in your opinion.

    Thanks in advance

Rodrigo Medirios' DVDs are good as are Saulo Riberio and anything with SBG is great for beginners.

normally speaking, for pretty much any dvd player, you can make it region free (i.e. it will play any disk) Google the brand and model of the player, along with region free hack, or something similar, and you should find a hack.
It usually comes in the form of: turn on the player, press open, press (insert here random order of buttons, numbers etc) then youll be shown a screen to choose the region, just pick 0

There was a thread on mma.tv about this a while ago and most people reccomended Matt Serra's DVDs as a great stating point.
