I've never had any issue from them over the last 6 years.

I'd never mention to purchase anything from a online shop if I did not trust them.

    Even with returns.

I've heard bad things about them too. They delivered a wrong bass to my friend and wouldn't take it back... They eventually did though, after lots of arguing.

They'll never get any more trade from me, that's for sure.

Anything you import (from the states anyway) has to have at least 30% added on to the original price because of customs charges. But with a strong Euro maybe this wont matter.

I got my bass off playrecord.net (Washburn force - 5)- I had to send the first one back because it was damaged but the second one they sent me was fine.

    30%? That's a new number. It's 21% VAT + 3.4% import tax in total.

+1 Maybe his postman is pullin' a fast one and pocketing the rest? :D

It's hasn't worked out like that anytime I've been stung with it, got a guitar body off ebay a year or two ago that cost about 60 euro or so including postage and ended up paying roughly an extra 60 in charges. Don't remember the exact details but think it was a handling style charge added for opening the package, or something along those lines.

If you get your item delivered by UPS, they will add an administration fee to it. If it's by An Post, it'll be 24.5%.

It was just a rough guide, jesus calm down.

Its not just customs you'll have to pay, the different companies involved in the transaction may or may not have their own charges.

I probably should have said 'customs plus other charges'- but you get the idea.
