    And....???? Ever hear of the Pinto option???
    Ford made a crap car in the US,the Pinto.It had the nasty habit of blowing up and frying it's eco concious inhabitants[It was one of the first attempts at building a more energy efficent cars in the US in the 1970s]if rear ended.Ford knew about this design fault,and there was lawsuits aplenty from survivors and fammlies.Ford paid out the lawsuits no bother.Why?It was cheaper,than go and redesign the car,retool multi million dollar plants ,lay off people etc.
    This will be the same here with the Eskimoes.After being dragged thru the courts of the US,and back and forward in the Supreme court.IF they win,Exxon will pay up and not even blink at the cost of the lawsuit.
    The Eskimoes will be no better off,as their lawyers will have sucked up at least 2/3rd of the payout.They will have set a precedent all right but thats it.Costs money if you want justice in any mans land.
