Acer Aspire 4315 for €300?

What are people's opinions on the Acer Aspire 4315.

I've gotten an offer through work to pick up one with the following specs for a little over three hundred euro, unfortunately the specs they've provided are fairly limited.

    Cel M 530 1.73Ghz
    1GB
    80GB
    14.1
    Vista Home Basic
    DVDRW

I'm thinking of this as a birthday present for the girlfriend. To be honest, she'll mainly just use it for internet browsing and watching DVD's on so the spec would seem far in excess of her needs.

Any opinions on the quality of the range in general or owner experiences?

€300 sure ya can't go wrong really, Vista basic will run a bit slow with a celeron cpu and 1GB of Ram but if you stuck XP on it it would fly right!
    Worth the money IMO.

    It's pretty good for €300.
