IBM T43 thinkpad screen resolution.

    Hi,

    Does anyone know how to increase the screen res on the T43 beyond 1024 by 768?
    I there a driver I can download?
    I had a look on the site but not really sure

    If that's the native res of your screen, then obviously you're stuck with it in terms of the physical resolution of the display. Or am I misunderstanding the question?

    There are programs that will draw a larger resolution screen, and scale it down to yours, but ive no idea how effective they are. And you can change DPI settings in XP if i recall. What's your problem and what exactly are you trying to achieve?

    Pretty sure the T40 series cannot go beyond 1024 x 768, even the T60's, unless you get widescreen, are only capable, AFAIK, of going to 1024 x 768. If you need more use an external monitor or buy a Dell laptop :o

    well you can get a 1400x1050 lcd on the t43p
