I see Louk Sorensen is playing in the 2nd round of the Wolfsburg Challenger today, his first round win put him 1pt ahead of Conor Niland in the World Ranking and I think it he wins today he'll be in the top 300!

    He won in 3 sets.

It's actually his 5th win in a row in the tournament, having qualified but will most likely play 5th seed Andreas Beck (World 174) in the QFs.

Good run though for his first tournament of the year and hopefully his top 300 ranking will be confirmed on Monday!

    Into the final now!

Fair play to him - doesn't seem to be much interest here though!!!

Just an update on Louk Sorensen's progress.

He won that tournament in Wolfsburg to move him up to 250 in the World Rankings.

Since then he's gone over to play in Mexico, the first tournament was on clay which doesn't seem to suit him and although he was the top seed in the qualifying he didn't make the main draw.

This week he automatically got into the main draw of the hardcourt Tournament in Leon as his ranking was high enough thanks to his Wolfsburg win and has won his 1st round.

He plays the second round tonight against the second seed but is actually favourite for the match as his opponent is an out and out claycourter.

A win tonight would put him higher than 250 (he's slipped back to 262 after last week) and if he goes on to win the tournament he'd be in the top 200!

This time last year he was ranked about 500 in the world so he's definitely on the up!
