So my power supply died in the last hour. I wanted to go to bed, but NOOOOOoooOOOooOOOooo....

I had to jump on to HP support to see if I couldnt get a new cord out as quick as I could. But ack, the damn thing is not covered in my warranty. In fact its the one thing that isnt. Conspiracy?

Then Grand says I - lets just buy a new piece. dodgeythirdpartysitedodgeythirdpartysiteripoffripoffdodgeythirdpartysiteripoffdodgeythirdpartysite

fcuk it says I, lets just order direct.

Hp.ireland -> sweet fcuk all there but a few frontend products. Definitely no spare parts. Odd.

Jump to the UK site. Theyre in the gills with spares, but WAIT: HP does not ship to Gibraltar, the isle of Man or Ireland. WTF?

I'm sorry this just drives me ****ing batty. If someone wants to find me an affordable spare Im all ears but my search turned up ****e. its a pavillion dv6500 lappy, the supply's model is 394224-001. Finding people that ship to ireland is a chore - a couple even ask as much as $120 to get it over from the states

Not in a good mood any more. I'm going to bed. what possible reason would they have to discriminate against Ireland? I just want my lappy to be happy :(
