Musicians for a Soul/rock band wanted.

    Hi,
    I'm looking to start up a soul/rock/blues band. Mostly to play covers but if someone has some original songs, that would be cool too.
    So, guitarists, bass, drums, backing vocalists, trumpeters or sax players give me a shout!!
    I've been singing for years but only got a feel for performing live while doing some open mic nights in Liverpool last year.
    I am willing to practice four to five times a week and give this my best shot. (And don't worry, I'm not a big diva!;) )
    I used to organize gigs myself so gigs won't be a problem!!
    I am looking for musicians that love playing and want to get together and make some good music.
    I am on the north side of Dublin.
    Influences are Bill Withers, Chuck Berry, The Everly Brothers, Johny cash, Ray Charles, Eva Cassidy, Carole King, James Brown, The Blues Brothers, The Beatles, Thin Lizzy, John Power and loads more.

    Hey I'm a guitarist. I'd be interested in this. I'm hugely into soul and rock n roll, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles and James Brown, The Blues Brothers and the Beatles are most of the artists I'm most influenced by!

    I'm guessing you're a singer?

    was asking Lauragoesmad to sing in the wedding band :D
