Photocopier Charges

    Hi all

We have a Toshiba E281 colour copier / scanner in our office. Great machine but expensive. We paid circa € 7000 for it and also have to pay circa € 800 pa for toner, € 200 pa service charge as well as paying per copy for black and white and colour copies. Total per annum is close to € 4000.

Does anyone have any cheaper option to recommend.

I believe if we cancel the contract that has us paying for each copy and found a qualified service guy then we would pay a lot less for just toner and servicing. Does anyone have a better arrangement. Does anyone know a qualified service person in the Dublin or Kildare area. All suggestions welcome.

    Reg

Most pay per copy contracts include the consumables such as toner: read the small print.

Look at the info on the unit as to what % of the different parts are used up already, eg the imagers and the drum, then price the cost of the replacement parts and perhaps it would be better to replace the unit once u run of toner again.

attached file shows the sort of info.
