College grinds

Hey I was wondering if anyone here knows where I can get grinds for Linear Algebra and Mechanics(someone who has done first year maths or tp already). I'm in first year and finding it really hard. The tutorials don't seem to be much use and if I was to ask questions in them I'd have to get them to explain the whole course from scratch lol (which would leave no time for anyone else to get help). How much would grinds cost anyway? Thanks.

Free! The Maths Dept run a helproom paid for by the HEA (I think) so it employs students from later years to answer questions.

The website's a bit out of date but I think it was still running last year. Pop them an e-mail and they're normally quite good at getting back to you.

Helprooms are still running. I do the second year one, which is actually busy enough, but most of them the person has nothing to do so its worth popping in, they'll be glad to help.
