    I've snipped the bit about the personal details from the original post - I can delete the other posts referring to this if EvilStarFire wishes - let me know .........

    The rest of the post seems legit - from my understanding he would be regarded as advanced if he has shot 500s in the past. A beginner is a beginner is a beginner IMHO ;)

    The rules only mention IV and schools competitions. I'm not sure if they are only concerned with competitions here or abroad as well. I can't remember the post but didn't EvilStarFire shoot the 500's in England?
