    Hi,
I need to get new tyres fitted to my car this evening but I forgot to bring my wallet so I was thinking of paying by cheque instead of going home first. Will a regular tyre shop accept a cheque for €450?

    Thanks

    D

It's really up to the tyre shop in question.

Cheques are a dying breed though so you'd be leaning toward the no rather than the yes.

In larger towns and citys yes.

In the country areas, not really.
