There's adverts online/in papers all over the place for recruitment consultants. You should just apply for these. A lot of trainee positions don't requier much experience they just want outgoing, enthusiastic people.

Recruitment consultants have to be quite pushy (there's a lot of sales) and a lot of your salary could be based on comission. Just remember that. It's not the easiest job in the world and recruitment consultants have a very bad reputation. I'd advise getting in to one of the bigger more reputable companies.

I worked for a large recruitment agency so happy to answer any questions u want here or via pm....it's a sales job 100%, long hours but very good financial results if you're good and prepared to put in the work. The bigger agencies have better structured training then the smaller ones but you might find niche markets better to work in. Social scene in my company was fantastic as well and i made some great friends. I left because I hated the hours (8:30-6), didnt beleive in the job/fees charged and i'd made enough money to persue other interests.

As The Sceientist says it is like selling your soul to the devil, a lot of people dont like recruiters and a lot of them are tossers but if its what you want to do you can make a lot of money simply by sending out good CVs :)

    Step 1. Labotomy
Step 2. Acid in eye to distort sense of reality.
    Step 3. Brass neck implants
Step 4. A crash course in fluent Orewellian doublespeak
Step 5. Receive certificate and join bullpen.
