I wonder if this has any connection to Black Gold being shown on More 4 last night ??
(For those who don't know what Black gold is, it's a documentary film about how coffee growers in Ethiopia get paid a pittance for their produce)

The cynic in me can't help wonder if it's more related to the fact Starbucks
are in more of a spot of bother as of late. With even McDonald's beating them
in coffee taste tests in the US and how they had to close all their US stores
yesterday for 're-training' maybe they were jumping on the fair-trade
band wagon to get some positive marketing.
