connecting to my pc with VNC.

    my local ip is 192.168.1.3

    when i check with ipconfig its ip is 86.xxx.xxx.xxx.

    how do I access the VNC session i've set up, ie what IP do i enter?

    If your on a LAN just use the computer name, its easier.

    If it's locally use 192.168.1.3

    Make sure your Firewall is not blocking you (Check your Windows Firewall, any 3rd party Firewall you may be using & your routers Firewall too)

    Make sure your Firewall is not blocking you (Check your Windows Firewall, any 3rd party Firewall you may be using & your routers Firewall too)

    How do you know your local IP is 192.168.1.3 when IPCONFIG shows 86.x.x.x - are you sure you are not looking at another network adaptor on your PC? :confused:
