Wireless switch on iQon laptop

I have an iQon laptop here for repair, the hard disk failed. The only identification I can find on it is LM1W Series. I've gotten everything working except the internal wireless LAN. The Intel driver installs fine but it constantly reports that the wireless is turned off via the hardware switch. There is a switch but pressing it has no effect.

I'm guessing I need some sort of keyboard driver or application to get the switch working, does anyone know what I can do? At the moment I'm being pressured to offer the customer a USB wireless adapter but I'm not too keen on the idea.

Is it turned off in the Bios by any chance? Either that or theres a keyboard combination like the ol' FN+F2 buttons on the keyabord.
