Just wondering if any one knows what the fees that an Estate Agent Charges for the letting of a commercial property, its 500 Sq.Ft lock-up shop unit in Cabra, the going rents would be around €1,500 / €1,600PMbased on a 4 Year 9 Monthh Letting. I spoke to one lad and he said he would do it for the equivalent of two months rent inclusive of Vat and I wanted to know was this a deal or can I get better. Thanks David

Normal fee we charge for this is 10% of first years rent + VAT.

€1,500 fee plus advertising, boards, brochures etc. Roughly it would be hitting €3k in total.
