Can anyone recommend something for cleaning car seats?

My car seats would be of the standard cloth variety

Get warm water, washing powder, and a stiff brush like a clothes brush or similar. Foam up the the water as much as you can. Get some suds on the brush (not water, just suds) and work any dirty patches with the brush.

Thanks for that!!! Probably a better method than those cleaning products they sell in Halfords!
