3 HSDPA modem and WinME

Hi, just a quick question - has anyone tried setting up a "3" HSDPA modem on either Windows ME or Windows 2000? Are they compatible? I've to set one up on a friends PC but looks like I might have to upgrade the OS first. Thanks in advance for any help.

Win 2000 should be fine, Win ME is a no no.

That's exactly what I wanted to know, thank you.
I was given the PC, but not the modem, so couldn't test it myself.
