can you enter the team event with 4 random players or do they all have to attend the same college

All the team have to be from the same college! Teams of 5, Colleges may have more than 1 team.

Just a question where does the team prize money come from?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 38 CIT Poker Soc

There will possibly be a 50 euro registration for a team which should be paid by the college society office...if not then it would just be (5*10 euro)..feedback is welcome!

yeah i think a single €10 for each competitor towards th individual prize and then €10 from each person who is on a team to the team prize. it sounds like a decent way to do it. ys still running it the same way as last year with each team nominating a captain and the captain getting double points yeah??

ya thomas same as last year, also sorry about only 2 students heading up to your event from us.....you know how hard it is to attract students to these things!!!:)

What is the buyin for an individual if he is not with a team is it €8?? If so this makes it a v team orientated tournament.Makes the buyin not really worth playing and i only live 5 mins away never mind someone travelling.

I understand its a student event but why not do like stephen mclean and let the captain nominate the college and let the players attend any college could attract more enteries.Just a suggestion.
