So I got started on...in the gym!!

By a guy of the ripe old age of approx 50, who had a SERIOUS agro problem!! He was annoyed because i said said "yes" when he asked me if i was using the machine that I was putting weights onto!! He then started threatening me and cursing and whatnot, all I could do was stand there and laugh at him, seriously, which seemed to p*ss him off all the more, then he walked off cursing to himself. He was back ten minutes later to apologise!


What a guy!



Honestly though, whats the world coming to when you cant go to your local gym to work out without the older more responsible gents of our society telling you they'll knock you out and dance on your head!!

Sounds like he was having a REALLY bad day and wanted to use the machine you were on, it does seem a bit mad though, at least he apologised.

What a muppet! So did he just want to use that machine then or something.

You need to spend some more time in the gym mate to get bigger so people will be afraid to start on you in the future.

Yes I am aware that people believe that muscles = good fighter!!! Im not a little skinny midget tho, thats why it was funny cos he is actually quite small and Im 6"3 so he had to lift his head to look me in the eye!! People were literally lookin at him and laughin tho! I mean there are other machines u can use, relax!!


Well he went off and used a different machine and came back but get this, he actually tried to use the machine in the middle of havin a go! I got the brunt of his roid rage it seems!

You should have pretended you were a care worker and you were taking him back to the care home. Say to one of the people in the gym "Alzheimer's is a terrible disease, He thinks he's 25 again.". That would have really freaked him.

Damn it, that would have been awesome, I was too busy tryin not to pee from the laughter that I didnt even think of trying to add my own twist to the comedy. He was making the situation funny enough on his own!

lol i used to think gym bulling was something on TV like that freinds episode where ross and chandelr get bullied when they go to the coffie shop without joey but 2 people from my job where started on in the gym last week and its not the first time i have head of this happening

Funny as time goes on i'm beginning to believe more and more of what I see on TV actually happens in reality.

It's quite interesting to come across these.

The biggest one was Ricky lake or Jerry springer type people. I used to never belive that people could be really like this and that if it was true americans are so stupid.

But as I began to think about it more I see alot of these characters in day to day life both in the city I live in and back at the home place.

I suppose when I was younger I expected people in real life were more intelligent than they actually are.

Depending on the gym (and I've a specific one or 2 in mind) I would be wary of squaring up to a 50ish customer. He could be running half the crime in the city. :eek:

Haha true that. Theres certain members in the 2 gyms that I'm a member of that I wouldn't even think about ****ing with. Not even jokingly.
