Ipod Touch 5 new applications (relatively new)

    I'm just wondering if anybody has purcased the 5 new apps available via ITunes for the Ipod Touch? (Stocks, Maps, Weather etc....)

    ITunes was telling me about them everytime i synched my Touch, but eventually i told it to go away and stop bugging me. Thinking about getting them now though but just want to find out if anyone has already got em and if so how do you find them? Worth the €17.99??

    Sorry if this has been already discussed elsewhere, i couldn't find it.

    you can get the apps for free though, by jailbreaking the ipod (lets you install programs on your ipod, google "Jailbreaking ipod touch" then inside the installer, just install Maps, stock, mail, weather!

    Not interested in Jailbreaking to be honest - will purchase them - i don't mind that part. What i'm wondering is are they actually worth purchasing?

    yeah I found Mail is very handy as are Notes and Maps. Definitely worth it but it's just easier to jailbreak cause you can get so many other great apps as well like an RSS reader or eBook reader.

    Mail is brilliant. Also like Maps. Weather is, eh, handy. I've noticed the accelerometer seems to work more reliably with the update or maybe it's just me. Isn't 1.1.4 out now?
