wordpad retrieval

    hey,dont know if this is possible but here it goes.
    writing an essay-essay 6.
    save it.
    delete all words and start essay 7.
    half way through essay 7 i hit save instead of save as.
    so essay 7 has save over essay 6, as essay 6.
    any way of getting around this?
    ive a feeling ill be writing essay 6 again.

    I doubt it very much. WordPad is very basic as editors go.

    Still a lesson learnt, albeit the hard way.

    yup i know,i was so angry at myself when i realised :rolleyes:
    that and the rage is still bubbling over it. thanks anyways,ill just start again.

    You aren't by any chance using Vista Business or Ultimate? Previous Versions could help you on the off chance a system restore was done in between saving each version.
