Sony seems to have confirmed this - or, at least, a June release, for the US.

Konami was saying that it'd be available worldwide, but we'll see. Easy to import anyway.

Sony will be running a new bundle for it in the US too. A 80GB, MGS4 with Dualshock 3 for $499. Maybe they'll do something similar in Europe?

Also, if you preorder in the US, they say you'll get into a beta test for Metal Gear Online in April.

Been thinking along the same lines myself. Never had much interest in PS3. Always said this would be the title to swing it for me, especially after the brilliant Snake Eater!!! All I need to hear is confirmation of the same bundle being released in Europe and I'll know when I'm getting a PS3! I'd say this bundle would be the perfect way to launch the 80GB model here, it'd sell like crazy.

There was an interview with Kojima in some Japanese mag also. Apparently he said the June launch would be worldwide, so hopefully that includes Europe too. If not, it'll be a definite import for me.

the fact they filled a bluray disk with this is quite amazing really, that is serious amount and just shows there really cannot be a 360 version coming
