Podge and Rodge to return the Irish votes for the Eurovision final?

Podge and Rodge - "And here from the jacks in Ballydung manor are the results of Irish vote - Ireland douze pointes"
How better to top one joke with another.
Already heard them toying with it on Mooney. So why not, you know it makes sense in a nonsensical way at least.

And it keeps it in the family.
Maybe Zig and Zag could do a duet with the Bronx Bunny for an interval act.

Unsubstantiated point* - the face behind the voice of the hand that controls the mouth up the ar$e of the turkey is "the lad that played the boring priest in the episode of Father Ted with the raffle."
    Thats mad Ted.

    *Confirmation anyone?

When you are toppping one joke with another, it helps if the first joke is amusing. [/Bah humbug, it's a pity it's not funny, I expect better from Dustin]

Really didn't understand that post. My head is fried.

But I'm sure Dustin will be funny as **** at the Eurovision!

It's not true. That has been doing the rounds for a while now.

    Dustin is Father Stone?!

I think Dustin's voice is done by a different fella these days. And how is it a secret?! Surely the man behind the turkey would be laughin his arse off about it with his mates down the pub? Puttin on bets to see how scandalous he can get with his jokes on day time tv?! :D

    Fair enuf.
Has Johnny Morrison appeared in person (rather than in turkey) on anything before? I've heard he only gives interviews in character.

No, he's "We run the gas off the electricity and the electricity off the gas" from the raffle episode, or so http://www.feck.net/splange/ftfaq.html#questions claims. Name of Gerry O'Brien.

This is the guy by the looks of it: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0444168/

Doesn't look like he's Dustin. Damn, I wanna find out who plays Dustin now...

You know when the votes from each country are revealed? Podge and Rodge telling them who the Irish public voted for.

    Hello Belgrade!

I've got no idea what the op is about.

Whoever said that the guy that does Dustin now is different is right I think. Have a look on youtube for some clips of Dustin in the early den days, it's definitely a different guy.

Whats there to get? That another pair of puppets would be apt to represent Ireland in the voting section of the final (reading out the Irish votes duh) or the connection between Dustin, Podge and Rodge and Zig and Zag.

Johnny Morrison - original voice of Dustin is brother of Ciaran Morrision - one half of Podge and Rodge who originally voiced Zig and Zag and as part of Double Z Enterprises created the Bronx Bunny which was aired in the E4.
You with me so far. Hence the keeping it in the family comment.

Considering Dustin "is a puppet" and many people can do voices, chances are pretty high that in Double Z they have more than one person who can play the parts for logistical reasons,"right I think"

Does Dustin look different in early youtubes? Perhaps they changed his sock.

I heard one of the dustins was very tall and had a hard time fitting under the table. Another lad was claiming it was Aonghus McAnally!
