    WOW!

Been listening to album "Dreams" lately and think it's amazing.

Heard one of their songs and decided to get the album and was extremely impressed. The vocals kinda remind me of David Kitt at his melancholic best, although the music is much more stripped down using just lead guitar, bass, drums, piano and vocals, no fancy effects.

Favourites on the album are "Burning" and "Don't Give Up" although I don't think there's a dud on it.

A quick Google revealed that the lead singer is Norwegian musician Erlend Øye who has collabarated with Röyksopp among others. He done the vocals and Poor Leno (my favourite track on Melody AM). I knew the vocals sounded familiar alright.

Anybody else been listening to them?

Yeah I stumbled upon them about 3 days ago (despite having them on my itunes for a fair few months at this stage, I just never listened to them!). Yeah, they are indeed rather decent to listen to.

Listened to this non-stop about a year ago! As good as if not better than Kings of Convenience, I love Done With You

I really like this band too, Dreams has been out for awhile now, its passed a lot of people by, which is a shame.

I really like Erlend Øyes solo album, its nothing like Kings of Convience stuff but its still really good

I'd say they will eventually, that's kind of how they do it, Erlend goes off and does his own thing while the other guy goes to college or something
    :)

Burning is a great track...love the way it gets subtley more heavy at the end.
