Anyone know the best price for getting 16 8x12 and 2 8x10 shots printed? Preferably close to Trinity College - I'm printing off everyone's entries for the Smedias competition and Spectra has quoted me 75 euro for all the prints.

I am a student so can avail of student discounts.

Maybe a list of shops (both brick and mortar and online) should be put up in the ultimate sticky?

I would never step inside the door of another Specta shop!
Every experience in their stores has been a bad one for me.

What's that place near Lush, by Trinity? Hickey's?
    Have you tried them?
Also that McG Digital place across from The George, used to be very good.

There was a Jessops besides Lush but I doubt they would have been much better than Spectra (also they've closed down).

I might pop into Hickeys and find out their prices...I'd probably need to get them done overnight on Wednesday and have it back by Friday (preferably).

If you can get a bit out of the city Harvey Normans will do them while you wait and its €4 per 8x12 and €3 per 8x10.

Yeah, I use Harvey Norman at Airside, but will never again use Harvey Norman in Blanch.
Airside have never let me down.
Found the prices a bit more expensive at Harvey Norman in Cork though.

Why bricksn'mortar Thirdy? I've had reasonable results from photobox.ie which are cheaper (I think).

you know if you are a DUPA member (if you are in TCD) you can avail of the 100+ rate on all prints at conns, which works out pretty good...2.50 per 8x12 10 per18x12 afaik

Well the newspaper is funding the printing and I don't think they want to be setting up online accounts etc. Just a quick once off transaction if possible.

Are you sure about that? Seems like a great offer - I'll get my editor to find out if anyone in DUPA is willing to get them printed off.
