Just wondering has anyone else ever had this happen.

Turned off my k800i last night and tried to turn it back on this morning and it's become a brick.

Tried charging it, connecting it to the pc and everything. Anyone have any ideas before I send it back to o2?

I had it plugged into my pc last night but i had disconnected everything before i unplugged it from the pc as you should and it rebooted fine.

did you try taking out the battery and putting it back in?

Go to the Sony Ericsson site OP. I had a similar issue with a W810i a while back and went to the S.E. site and updated the firmware. My problem was slightly different tho, I had a white flashing screen but the firmware update cured it.
I'd email S.E. too, they might have a fix for you.

    Tried that and nothing,

I'm not even getting that little vibration that you normally get when you're beginning start up so firmware update dosen't seem to be an option.

Only since the start of December so it's well in warranty, I'm tied up until thursday with a thesis so going to drop it into o2 in town then.
