I have broadband in my house and want to share it with my sister whos house it about 20 - 30 metres away from mine with clear line of sight between both houses. What would be the recommended equipment ?
Cannot get a cable between the 2 houses.

You can get directional antennas that you can replace your existing modems antennae with, and have another wireless router with another directional antennae in the other house pointed at it. See how far away your signal starts to drop off. Maplins have some ok ones for about €40 I think.

One of my neighbours has Eircom broadband and every time they connect my wireless laptop connects to theirs even though the signal is a bit weaker. It comes up with limited or no connectivity. Just have to re-view wireless networks and choose mine.
