    Played in Lukes end of month, the only tourny I could play this week, ....got 2nd. Guy playing with me (really nice guy) got 3 houses against me, so I guess he had his name on it. I had a big call to make against doke on the 2nd last table, got it right...:-) Happy with how I'm playing at the moment. bring on the IO.

    Anyway apart from the mini-brag. I'm posting to say what a good tournament structure-wise this was and
    how disappointing it is it didn't get 60 or so runners like it should. . . Bad timing probably. well the money was welcome anyway. :-)

    funny hand , Dokes AQ was all in against mackers QQ, 33 rag 33 :eek: to give Doke the pot with A kicker....LOL. Joe (angel of death) call the runner runner..

    Nice one Willie.
    Hard to believe that a tournament this good as this and the weekly 100 FO isn't getting far more runners. Probably having 3 EOM tourneys one night after another is a bit much.

    As for Joe the Jonah... :rolleyes:

    100%. And it will probably be the same again this coming November when we get four big festivals in four weeks.

    To play all three events requires:

    - €710;
    - Three long nights of poker in succession;

    I played two of the three, but would be entirely unable to go three long nights on the trot at the end of the working week.

    Everyone is going to put everyone else out of business. Particularly when the playing base begins to drop off and have less money to play with over the next two years.

    I Echo the sentiments about a fantastic structure and fair play to Luke for re-running a blind level 2 short-handed tables out to avoid a potential crap-shoot developing.

    Which seat was the winner in Willie? I was seat 8 at FT, you were 1. I went out 5th.

    What time did this start at? it was advertised for half eight. I got fed up after arriving on time, waiting around for half an hour , then left and it still didn't look like getting underway anytime soon. I'm sure it is a great structure and it should be supported, but frankly advertising for a half eight start is ridiculous if this isn't adhered to.
