okay, i know this isn't directly related to airsoft but it is to a site so hopefully it will stay. I found a site i would like to enquire about but how do I find out who owns the lands etc.?

if theres any houses near by, go knock in and ask them, they might own it or know who owns it., youd have to be professional about it though, turning up and asking "can a load of me mates shoot each other over there on your land mate" wouldnt really work.,lol,
make sure to have all the facts about what you intend for the site before approaching the owner and educate them on the game.,:)

The county council may have a register of this. Just a guess.

Go down to the pub and ask the old guy in the corner sipping Guinness, he'll know whose it is and probably give you their family history to boot. You could pretend to be a distant cousin and have an in to get the land.

Put up a thread in the hunting forum, those guys will definitely be able to tell you who to contact to find out the owners of a particular piece of land. Altough you might get some grief about being off topic :D

Go to the land registry office, it might cost about €6, but it's worth it.
