    Hi,

I was browsing for some IT related Gov Tenders on the official website.
Apparently they ask for lots of things, such as references, a full independent analysis of your company financial situation in the last 3 years, security deposit etc.

My company is about 8 months old, do you think I can still respond, because my understanding is that you have to have been in business for 3 years but I can't find the confirmation anywhere.

I am not sure if it worth for me to reply because I probably can't provide most of the things they are asking, a part from the technical expertise and products...

    Thanks

Ìf I were you, I wouldn't respond to a tender unless you had had a discussion about the tender requirements with the people involved beforehand.

    Hi mick.fr

There was a similar question asked on askaboutmoney and they feedback was that altough small companys can apply for tenders, the bigger firms get the tenders becasue of their trading record, can provide 3-5 years accounts etc. Hope this helps

You also need a tax clearance cert also before you can be considered, hence you must of been trading for greater than one year....
