Archos or iPod Touch ?

    Guys,

Little help here. I currently have a creative zen Vision M 30 gb which is great & which I love, however having seen my nephew's iTouch, my zen isn't doing it for me anymore.

So I'm in the market for a new media player & like the idea of docking etc that the archos does. I really don't like apple, (but do like the touch)... I love the extra add-ons you can get for the archos - tv out, camera turning it effectively into a camcorder, but apparently the battery life is crap on them ?>

Whatcha think ? Which is the better to go for ?

I have an itouch and seen the Archos. The itouch is brilliant; great screen, great UI, good size.
The archos seem big but the connection to TV is pretty cool but they are a bit bigger/heavier.

What things do yo want to do, what are the most important?
This might help make the decision

You want to listen to music or watch videos?
How do you source your media, what format is it in?
What size device (physically and storage) do you need?
    Is having a radio important?
    Do you use podcasts?
Do you like the convenience of an iTunes like store?
How comfortable are you with ripping, tagging, converting, etc you own media?

As an aside, I've yet to encounter any mp3 player that handles video as well
as the Zen M; it's wide codec/format support and excellent TV out is hard to
replace. I still use mine primarily as an avi player.

For all else, have you looked at the Microsoft Zune? ;)

Radio is important for when walking (as is MP3s), for the dart & going away video is important - would really like to be able to output to TV (can't fault the zen for this)
