ok, i'm not an expert in muay thai, but i thought, from what we could see with the shaky cam. it was a pretty close fight, so how did Dzchabar (or however its spelled) win after having two points deducted.

Could somebody more qualified than me point out my noob mistake?

Just watched this last night. I have to admit that I was surprised by his win but....He did actively dominate David Paquette in the clinch (dumped him on his hole a good few times) and this is one thing judges look out for.

For my money, given the two points deducted Paquette won the fight.

edit: I should add that Dzabhar was a dirty dirty fighter. Really bad stuff. Stuck in an elbow to the back of the head after the bell at one point and separately had two points deducted. One for a knee in the bollix, the other for a kick in the head while Paquette was on the ground. Really bad stuff.

yabba is well good far better than dave paquette... yabba used to fight at 62kg so fair playz to him

he walked forward the whole fight n was agressive...that alone won it

I aint seen it yet to comment on it, but know how he tends to normally fight

how can you say that that walking forward won the fight alone when you havent seen it.
if you've not seen the fight how can you ok, i understand you may know how a fighter fights but you cant say him walking forward won the fight alone..paquette could have used him walking forward to his advantage, but i know he didnt because he lost,, but you cant possibly say that walking forward won a fight alone..

Haha. Paddy...yer a mad yoke. You are right though, he did push forward for most of the fight. Do be fair to Paquette though, his kicks where much better (IMO). Overall it was a close fight. Both created cuts with their elbows, both landed their fair share of blows, but Dzabhar was deducted 2 points. I thought that alone should have lost it for him. Shows very bad form to be deducted 2 points in 1 round without warning (they were both blatant fouls).
