Satellite TV to LCD

I have an LCD TV in boxroom of my house with XBox, pS3 and PC hooked up to it.

There is a skybox in the neighbouring bedroom and I am looking into how best to connect to it. I have tried video senders but there is horrible interference. I have wireless broadband, cordless phones etc.

the most straightforward way seems to be run coaxial cable from skybox to TV with one of those Sky magic eye devices. would only need to drill small hole in partitiion wall for cable. distance short enough maybe 15 feet.

    any ideas or advice?

either on this plan or improving video sender quality?

    thanks

if you still have one of the scart outputs free on the satellite then use that, the quality will be much better than coax.

i have a video sender in mine and i had to offset the wireless channels on everything so i get no interference. i have wifi & cordless phones as well.

well, on my video senders & phones there was a small switch for A, B or C. i set the video senders to A, then i set my phones to the B settings. then i went into the setup for my wireless router and set that for channel 13 (C) ... so start, middle and end of the wireless spectrum for them all.

your stuff may be different. my phones are Panasonic, my video senders were OneForAll and my router is Apple. i don't know if i was lucky and my gear is able to be changed, you'll have to check and see if you can do that with yours..

the video sender has channels 1 to 4 alright but I changed them around without too much change in quality

My wireless router is on channel 11 as far as I recall

I will check out about phone

The xbox and PS also have wireless connectivity

Enable the RF2 on the back of the Sky box then run a Satellite cable to tv in other room.
You could purchase a TVLinks in B&Q and this would mean you could change sky channels on the other tv.Simple
