Just about to make the jump from Chorus to a sky+(really getting fed up of the reception), but one of the lads mentioned that the sky+ tends to freeze at midnight (fairly regularly).

Is this a common occurence with all the boxes or just certain models?
Anyone have any information(if it's water cooler bull****, just say)

Cant say I have ever encountered freezing on my Sky+ box. I have it nearly a year and a half now.

Its probably just the box switching to auto standby for power saving. It can be turned off in the settings on the box.
