World Indoor Tug of War Championship Results

    The World Indoor Tug of War Championship has been taking place in Italy over the last four days. The club competitions took place on Thursday and Friday and the International competition took place on Saturday and Sunday. There were four weight categories in each, 560kilo, 600kilo, 640kilo, 680kilo.
    In the International competitions Ireland won 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals.
    In the club competitions Clonmay from Co. Donegal were crowned World champions at 640kilo winning the gold medal.
    Richill from Co. Armagh won the gold medal at 560kilo.
    Mountain View from Co. Louth won two silvers, 560kilo & 640kilo and one bronze at 600kilo.

    The Irish team are returning home today with a lot of medals after a very successful championship.
